The show charts the complicated pairings of Jack and Algy, two dapper London lads, and their true loves, Gwendolyn and Cecily, two modern London women. What follows is a comedy of errors spanning the tearooms of London to the lawns of a country manor, resulting in mistaken identity, too many muffins, a mysterious leather handbag, and one question above all: Exactly who is Earnest?
